Packed shop rags for finishing work

White for finishing

To apply stain, wipe off excess oil or clean a brush, you need a rag that won't bleed. Our white rags are sorted so they leave no color on wood, metal or fresh paint.

  • White T-shirt: thin and soft, for stain, varnish, polishing and delicate surfaces.
  • White terry: thicker, for spills, tool cleaning and heavy excess.
  • Colored: for job-site cleanup, hands and ladders, at a lower cost.

Who it's for

House painters, woodworkers, furniture and cabinet finishers, furniture restorers, body shops and industrial paint shops.

Careful with stain and oil rags

Rags soaked with linseed oil, tung oil or oil-based stain can catch fire on their own as they dry. Never leave them balled up or in a pile. Lay them flat outdoors to dry, or put them in a closed metal container filled with water. Details in the guide oily rags and fire risk.
