Frequently asked questions about our rags
Prices, products, delivery and orders.
How much do your rags cost?
$32 per 25 lb bag for colored rags (T-shirt or terry) and $42 for white (T-shirt or terry), before tax. Delivery is extra and depends on your location. See products.
What's in a 25 lb bag?
25 lb of recycled cotton rags of a single type: T-shirt or terry, white or colored. The rags are washed, sorted and treated against bedbugs.
What's the difference between T-shirt and terry?
T-shirt (jersey) is thin, soft and flexible: ideal for general use, hands and delicate surfaces. Terry (towel cloth) is thick and absorbs more: ideal for oil, grease and big spills.
White or colored?
White doesn't transfer color: for painting, finishing, varnish and light surfaces. Colored costs less and suits everyday wiping in garages, shops and job sites.
Do you deliver? Where?
Yes, to your address: Laval, Montréal, Longueuil, Terrebonne, Blainville, Boisbriand and the rest of Greater Montreal. Elsewhere in Québec we deliver from 1,000 lb per delivery. The fee depends on the location. See delivery.
How do I order?
Fill in the quote form or email info@entretienlaval.ca. Orders are confirmed and paid one week before delivery.
Is there a minimum order?
Outside Laval and Montréal, the minimum is 1,000 lb (40 bags) per delivery. For Greater Montreal, ask us about the terms for your area.
Are the rags clean?
Yes. We remove metal, buttons and zippers, then every lot is washed in hot water, treated against bedbugs, cut into ready-to-use pieces and packed in Laval. They smell fresh.
Do you offer samples?
Yes, on request, so you can check quality and size before a first order.
Can you supply large volumes?
Yes, quantity is unlimited. We also supply janitorial distributors and industrial suppliers. See wholesale rags.
Will I get an invoice with taxes?
Yes. Entretien Laval is a registered Québec business (NEQ 2280629637, GST and QST). Listed prices are before tax.
Can the rags be used with oil or solvents?
Yes, cotton absorbs oil, grease and solvents. After use, store soaked rags in a closed metal container: see our guide oily rags and fire risk.
Where do the textiles come from?
From recovered cotton clothing and textiles that would otherwise go to landfill. They are sorted by type and color, cut and packed in Laval.
